Guitar and Bass is a program to learn guitar, which includes a tablature editor, and offers the possibility to compose tracks and play them.
The application is compatible with other string instruments, as well as guitar (6 or 7 string), such as bass (4 or 5 strings), banjo and mandolin.
As far as learning is concerned, Guitar and Bass includes theoretical exercises and auditory training exercises to recognize chords, scales, intervals, keys, and fretboard notes. In the latter case, for example, by way of exercise a note is played on the fretboard and the corresponding fret must be clicked.

Guitar and Bass 1.1.3 is the latest version available, updated in June 2012, which is available for Windows (XP, Vista, 7), in Spanish, and to download free.
This latest version introduces the main support for audio input , which makes it possible to connect instruments and perform exercises with them.
