Photo-Mosaik

Foto-Mosaik is a program that allows you to create mosaics (composite images with many miniature photos) from personal photos.

To create mosaics, collages or murals, the application allows you to select a set of photos, which reduces as much as possible, to fill in another selected photo. It is possible to select the number of times each image can be repeated, the resolution and other parameters. Foto-Mosaik is in charge of the distribution and retouch of each small photo, so that the original big photo becomes a collage but remaining as close as possible.

All photos and added images are stored in a database, to be reused in future compositions, and the more photos you have, the better quality you will get in the mosaics. It supports several formats, such as JPG, BMP, PSD, TIFF and GIF, among others, so it is not necessary to convert any photos from the personal collection or download from Internet.

The program is easy to use since the processes necessary to obtain the collages are made through a guide (wizard) that indicates each step to follow. There are 3 different modes: Classic, Parquet and Chaos, having to select one of them, and in turn you can choose between several formats.

Photo-Mosaik 6.6.12119.1 is the latest version, updated in April 2012, of this software to create collages that you can download for free . It is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, and is translated into Spanish.
