ConvertXtoDVD is a program which allows you to convert videos to DVD. It supports several formats including DivX, XviD, MKV, FLV, AVI, WMV, MOV, MPEG4, MP4, OGG, MP3, DV, AC3, DTS, PCM, VOB, RMV and Quicktime. Works with NTSC and PAL video formats.

You do not need to be looking for codecs for AVI, since this program has its own codec packs. It includes hardware decoding technology that allows you to accelerate the conversion process, and also allows you to process more than one video at the same time.

ConvertXtoDVD is easy to use and is able to select the videos you want to convert, and configure some options related to quality, output format, subtitles, menus, and so on. Then the application takes care of the rest.

The application allows you to add navigation menus for the DVD as well as background music and a video that serves as a trailer or movie presentation. Another new feature, incorporated in this latest version, allows you to edit the videos to be added to the DVD, in order to remove parts of the movies that do not interest you.

ConvertXtoDVD can be useful when you have several movies that you want to save to a single DVD, reducing the size of your files. It is possible to add subtitles, and synchronize them in case they are undone.

Finally, after finishing the process of converting, editing and setting up the DVD (with the corresponding Audio_TS and Video_TS folders), you can use some disc burning application, such as CDburnerXP.

ConvertXtoDVD 5.0 (5.0.0.33) is the latest version (updated December 2012) of this software so it is not free, it is an evaluation version. The difference with the original version is that this trial version adds the logo (mark) of the program on the DVD. In case the user does not want the watermark to appear and does not want to pay for the license of this software, other similar free applications, such as WinX Video Converter, are available.

Works for Windows XP SP2, Vista, 7 and Windows 8.
